The Bridge Club
The Bridge Club welcome new members but unfortunately we can not accommodate non-players. If you would like to learn to play Bridge we can signpost you to a very good teacher. We play standard Acol only and if you would like to join you must have a partner. If you do not have a partner please call in and put your name down to be called upon if someone needs a partner. It is often possible to find a permanent partner this way. We are a social and friendly club of both sexes with players of all ages.
We meet every Thursday evening in the Village Hall and start playing at 7.00pm finishing at 10.00pm. Our annual subscription is £5.00 and we pay £2.00 per session which covers refreshments and the hall hire.
If anyone just wants to come along to test us out, your fee for that evening would be £2.50.
We aren’t affiliated to any Bridge bodies so our club is just for fun.

Odiyana Centre provides meditation classes in Lymm, teaching basic meditation and the practice of Kadampa Buddhism. The purpose of these classes is to help people to gain personal experience of inner peace, to overcome their daily problems, and to find real happiness in their hearts. Each class consists of guided meditations, a talk and discussion.
They last about two hours, including refreshments. The classes are suitable for everyone from beginners to experienced meditators. Each class is self contained, though you are welcome to attend the whole course. They provide an ideal introduction to meditation and Buddhism, teaching effective and practical methods for overcoming problems and increasing happiness in daily life.
