The Full Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 13th September was cancelled.

Condolence books

Books of condolence are now available at Lymm Village Hall and St Mary’s Church and will be distributed to all local schools and community groups for signing.

Lymm Village Hall is open between 9am and 5pm on Tuesday 20th September for the final day on signing.

Church services

Each church will be making their own plans for services however, St Mary’s Church will be holding a Civic Commemoration Service on Sunday 18th September at 10.00am.

The service will be followed by a parade from St Mary’s to the Village Hall where refreshments will be served and there will be time to sit and connect with others.  All are welcome at the village hall and refreshments will be served until 4.00pm

Reverend Beverley Jameson 01925 757081 A Civic Commemoration Service will be held at 10.00am on Sunday 18th September. The service will also be broadcast on Lymm Radio and live streamed on YouTube. Search for “Civic Service Lymm”. A collection will be taken for the Queen’s Memorial Tree Fund. After the service, all members of the congregation are welcome to join a procession along Rectory Lane towards Lymm Village Hall for refreshments.

Flowers and Donations

There are two places to leave flowers:

  • In the Village Hall (open daily 9am to 8pm)
  • St Mary’s Churchyard.

Please try to make sure there is no plastic cellophane or wrappers on the flowers.

Donations will be taken to provide a longer-term memorial. Cheques are accepted at the village hall or donations can be made by bank transfer to Lymm Parish Council using sort code 77-51-08, Account number 13870668, with the reference HM DONATION
