Duck Race

Easter Monday

Tensions are always high to be the winner of Lymm’s Duck Race each year and to see who takes home the cash prize.  A thousand plastic yellow ducks are released from Lymm Dam and whizz downstream into the village to much public excitement.

The centre of Lymm also becomes the focus for a family friendly day out with rides, stalls and entertainment right in the heart of the village. Organised by Lymm & District Round Table.

Make sure you have sponsored your duck and are in with a chance of winning!

For more information and to sponsor a duck, go to the Lymm Duck Race website. No ducks are harmed during the event (although a few like to play hide and seek)!

Lymm May Queen

Returning in May 2024

Each year, a theme is chosen and is reflected in the procession which contains bands, dancers, and floats decorated by local schools and organisations.
